A retractable awning extends over a patio, deck, or window on folding arms, with no posts at the front edge, and rolls back against the wall when you don't need it. The shade shows up when the sun is on the table and is gone when it isn't.
We install Sunair's awning line. For patios, Sunair is the open-roll model, up to 40 ft wide and 14 ft out. Suntube rolls the fabric into a semi-cassette when it's in. Sunstar covers mid-size openings up to 24 ft wide. For windows and storefronts, Maxi runs up to 24 ft wide and Combi up to 12 ft. Solharo lies flat over a pergola, sunroom, or conservatory, up to 29 ft wide and 19 ft out. Sunchoice Elite and Sunchoice Classic come in standard sizes with a 10 ft projection. For a permanent cover, Sunair builds fixed fabric canopies on welded aluminum frames. We recommend the model at the site visit, based on the opening, the sun, and how often the awning will be out.
