The install was about as demanding as they come: cliffside, three floors up. And the owner wanted the space to work without having to manage it every morning.
The balcony became an outdoor room the owner controls hands-free. We installed a motorized Sunbrella system with wind, sun, and time sensors: it deploys automatically in the early morning to block the sun, then retracts on its own as the sun moves off.
