For a winery or brewery, the brutal part of a Saturday afternoon is also the most valuable part: full tables, families, a crowd that stays and spends if they're comfortable. But a permanent structure is a big commitment for a problem that comes and goes with the weather and the calendar. The need was real and the day was hot, but the solution had to be temporary.
Both venues — Five Soul Wine and neighboring Frontyard Brewing Company, who share the same land — got cool, full patios on a hot Saturday, with nothing built and nothing left behind. We brought in our inflatable shade canopies, two systems in a dome shape and a U shape, and had them up and shading guests the same day. Drop-stitch construction lets them inflate into a rigid, self-supporting shape that holds real form and real coverage, then packs down and clears out when the event's over. People stayed, kids played, and the patio kept earning through the worst of the heat.
This is shade on call: coverage that arrives when you need it, for a hot weekend, a private event, or peak season, with no structure and no permanent commitment.
